I don't think a Person can ever be an Event, so the UFO Encounter type shouldn't be added to topics about people.
We've got thousands of topics typed both Person & Event in the database and several of the first bunch that I've looked at were traced back to this UFO Encounter type.

I agree. Spencer, could you please add people as UFO observers instead of UFO encounters and create a new topic for the encounters along the lines of "[Person] UFO encounter"?
Tom, I only saw a few people typed as UFO encounters and there are only a around 100 typed UFO encounters in total so far. I don't think these couple of errors are going to make a dent in your cleanup. Thanks for pointing it out though.

Turns out that when Freebase told me there were "about 4,000" topics in my table, it actually meant "a little under 300." That's a fairly generous intepretation of the word "about," but the good news is that there are nowhere near as many to clean up.
